It's great to hear from you after so many decades. My search for truth never ended. I attended Tulane University in New Orleans when I left Homestead. I first obtained a degree in Archaeology. Of the truth of the BOM I remained convinced. I also studied Spoken Yucatecan Maya, Mayan Glyphs, and Hebrew, for if the Maya were the Nephites, either Hebrew or Egyptian words should be found in Maya. I had already studied Egyptian Hieroglyphs at BYU.

Next, because of reasons you will find if you visit my website, GEOARCHAEOLOGY@blogspot.com (just type in Geoarchaeology on google, and it will come up), I pursued a second full degree in Geology, which I completed at the top of my class (of over 300 geologist wannabes). Over the next many years, from 1984 through 1999, I became an expert in precolumbian civilizations, published the Zarahemla Quarterly for three years (all issues will be available on the website within the next 60 days to read freely), published three books, PROOFS OF THE BOOK OF MORMON, THE MULEKITE CONNECTION, and ANGULAR CHRONOLOGY, all of which will also be available to read freely within the next 60 days (you're reaching me at a good time), wrote and narranted the ZARAHEMLA FIRESIDE BROADCAST, introduced by Dr. Paul Chessman, professor emeritus of religion at BYU, with whom I know you must be familiar, these will be uploaded for free listening-14 episodes total-as well on the website soon, and also on the professional side,

I had obtained a Masters from Cal State in Hydrogeology, formed a company, and obtained three US patents, two in biotechnology and one in heavy metal extraction chemistry, and invented BioSparge and MRSS remediation technologies and supporting trademarked biochemical additives to affect environmental remediation at contaminated sites for all branches of the military, and within the states of Wisconsin, California, Texas (whose environmental regulations I had a part in producing), Nevada, Arizona, Mexico, Canada, Utah (where the first demonstration of Bio Sparge was conducted at a Rainbow station, with many other sites following), and elsewhere.

My science business paid for my archaeological research, which included site visits and studies in all but two countries in this hemisphere, and in Egypt. Alas, because my research was conducted from six separate directions in both the physical sciences and archaeology, including exhaustive historical research, even though I proved beyond doubt much that is true in the BOM, and could NOT be fiction written by Smith and Rigdon, I also encountered the absolute absence of other evidence which should have been plentifully encountered.

Complicating this was a decision that the Maya had to be the Jaredites, because they absolutely could not have been the Nephites. Not one word of Hebrew is in the Mayan glyphs or in the post-conquest spoken Yucatecan Maya. I translated the Codex of Calkini into English while at Tulane, but there is not there or elsewhere in all the codices I have studied,Hebrew. Only a single instance of an Egyptian hieroglyph exists, and that occurred not in the glyphs, which have nothing to do with Egyptian, but in a Ma . .i frame of spoken Yucatecan Maya, the Egyptian negative which translates as no”” or not.”

By Angular Chronology, with which you can become familiar a couple of months hence, I, along with my friend, Troy Smith, who was my associate for decades, until 1995, realized that the Maya must have been the Jaredites. This option I still have open, for the BOM "core" is a basically correct manuscript, to which much material was added. This meant that Smith and Rigdon obtained the manuscript elsewhere and added a great deal of completely incorrect, contradictory, and untrue religious material, something I had fiercely rejected for many years.

However, all lines of research, one by one, which I now refer to as the six "pillars," not because they upheld my belief system, but because each destroyed one of the supports, and now support my current belief system, which rejects ALL organized religion, for reasons that will become all too apparent if you follow my website. Every additional proof which I have continued to find of the BOM (Originally entitled, "A Manuscript Found," written by someone else, but which Rigdon took from the printer when the author died), and they are many and powerful, will all be honestly and accurately reported in forthcoming articles on the website.

For this reason, many members of the church (Which I left in 1999 for the aforestated reasons, all academic and scientific) follow my website and are anxious to know of this research, which has now become broad indeed. I will be living full-time in Mexico this year, with an interspersed year or two in West Africa on another inescapable anomalous truth which can only attest to an extraterrestrial visit from the star system, Sirius, which the primitive African Dogon tribe knew centuries before we discovered Sirius B with more powerful telescopes in the mid-1800s, but of which the Dogon tribe knew of, including its orbital period, although it is completely unseeable by the naked eye or insufficiently powerful telescopes.

That's another direction of research, too complex to discuss here, but you can read THE SIRIUS MYSTERY if you are interested. The Nommo were an amphibious race which visited here and intend to return. The Dogon even know the rate of rotation of Sirius B (The first star in a multi-star system is A. Sirius A is the brightest start in our sky. Sirius B rotates about it) which we have yet been unable to discover!

Add to this the work of Zechariah Sitchin, which is now being confirmed at a rapid rate, and we discover that the "gods" who created man were the Anunaki from the planet Nibiru. The entire series of 14 tablets discovered over the past few decades has now been translated (See THE LOST BOOK OF ENKI, or wait to read my articles on the website). They predate the Bible by two thousand years, and are the Sumerian source for the first 10 chapters of Genesis. Unfortunately, they reveal that the entire Monotheistic thrust attempted by deliberate omission and false insertions to justify the belief in a trinity, itself a depiction of each of us (physical body inhabited by a very low-density spiritual body, inhabited by a massless energy being-the "real" you or me), but wrongly attributed to those who fashioned Mankind.

When the Anunaki arrived here circa 450,000 yrs ago, they had evolved to a point well beyond us even today, although we are now arriving. Only the advanced hominid state had been attained. They came for gold, which is infinitely malleable to a single atom thick to pulverize and suspend in their atmosphere to shield them from the suns intensity when at close approach, and retain the planets heat at the farthest point of their orbit, which is 3700 Earth years, (a SHAR being one Nibiru year).

They fashioned Mankind by genetic engineering, explained in detail impossible to have know otherwise in the Sumerian clay tablets which record the entire period of Olden times prior to the creation of man, and the over 300,000 years following the end of the Olden times with Mankind's first creation, involving the addition to Earth's hominid DNA of Anunaki DNA (explained in detail only understandable by us in recent decades, beginning with the ability to clone, genetically engineer, and stem cell therapy).

As you can see, the entire vista of research became vast, but it led me without recourse OUT of the church, even though it proved the core of the BOM. There WAS spoken Hebrew and written on plates; there WAS reformed Egyptian; there WAS also written and spoken Chinese, Phonecian, Irish Ogam, Viking, and a multitude of others, about which much is now known, but hotly denied by those who cannot or will not, confront their belief system. Mine has continuously evolved since I cut it loose from its moorings in 1999.

You will be astonished that I could leave the church when you read the Quarterlies, hear the broadcasts (Paul Chessman said of me, "Michael Hobby has done more to prove the Book of Mormon than anyone"), and read the books. Only when you read some of the additional articles and texts which will be uploaded, many of which further prove the Book of Mormon, but simultaneously disprove it.

It is this troubling anomaly that led to the realization that a core of truth had been added to by someone, and you know who that someone could only be. I was at first stricken, feeling alone in the universe, no loving father to greet me if only I served him faithfully, which I did. Few men, if any, have done more. You can judge for yourself as you encounter the material.

Yet, I cannot and will not lie, Not to you or to myself, and the knowledge of science and archaeology which I accumulated over decades of non-stop total commitment gave me, within a single skull, an interdisciplinary capability far beyond what I ever hoped to attain. Two doctorates are also in progress, based entirely upon original research, one in Environmental Science, and one in Geoarchaeology. I have not stopped, but I have evolved. At times, startled to my foundations, I have many times wished, "IF ONLY" the "gospel" was really true, how much easier the quest for truth would have been and would continue to be.

But, just as I reported and taught the proofs I found, I withheld for a time the disproofs until a critical mass was attained. Now, a decade later that mass is well beyond ten times what it was then, and expanding exponentially. There will (believe it or not) be a F.A.R.M.S. section on the website, for they still cling to the hopeless belief that the Land Northward AND the Land Southward are within a small portion of Mesoamerica, which all archaeological research makes impossible. I have an ongoing, professioal dialogue with some of the foremost scholars, and you will see those exchange posted on the website within two or three months. There WAS a Land Northward; there WAS a Land Southward. I have proven the BOM correct. There WAS a Land Bountiful, a Land Desolation, the place where the sea divides the land, and much, much more. There WAS a Mormon; there WAS a Moroni; there WERE many other names and elements in the (core of) the BOM. However, there WAS NOT the many religious additions made by Smith and Rigdon. That, I have, unfortunately, also proved and lamentable had to accept.

I can almost see you reeling from all of this, but because it was I who baptized you, you hold a special place in my heart, as all others who for decades followed our work, and to whom I thus have an obligation to reveal ALL, not just the favorable, proofs. We conducted multi-stake firesides for many years. Scheduled to end at nine or ten pm, they lasted until the wee hours of the morning, because members had found someone who could actually answer their questions.

I withdrew from the stage for almost a decade. But now, so much has been discovered since that I have an obligation to report in an ongoing manner the conclusions reached at each step along the way from where I was in 1999 to where I am in 2009. Those who simply cannot confront their belief system will follow for the sole purpose of seeing more evidences that the BOM is true. It IS, but not the additions thereto. Smith and Rigdon didn't even change the names. I'm happy they didn't.

Nevertheless, barring my death (I have chronic heart failure, so the possibility is not remote), all will become increasingly apparent to those (and they are many, but only a small percentage) who want more truth, not merely confirmation of their existing beliefs.

Most are happy with the social system of the church, which is commendable and remarkably advanced. They just want to live in peace. They DON'T want to become disassociated from their brethren. That is an unavoidable consequence, painful, and lonely, of following the truth wherever it leads from any belief system. That consequence passes, and a liberating realization that you have climbed outside the box overcomes you in time, but the agony of the interim most cannot endure. They lack the scientific and archaeological knowledge to force any acknowledgement. They either ignore, deny (without foundation, but solely upon "Faith"), or attempt to refute either the evidence or the lack thereof by the most ingenious of methods. One can lead a horse to water, but . . .
